Phone: 07307 331103
Our full postal address for formal correspondence is available on request by email or phone.

We are the data controller for the information described in this notice, which means we decide why and how it is used. We are a sole trader and are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer, so please contact us directly using the details above.
2.What we collect, and when
We only collect what you type into one of our forms, or tell us on the phone.
If you use the quote form on the homepage: your name, phone number, postcode, and whatever you write in the description box.
If you use the contact form: your name, phone number, email address, the service you selected, and your message.
If you leave feedback through the review box: your star rating and your feedback. Your name and email are optional there.
We do not buy contact lists, and we do not add anything to your record from other sources.
Please do not send us health information. If you mention something medical in a message, for example that access needs to be arranged around a condition, we will use it only to do the job safely and will not keep it beyond the work.
3.Why we need it, and our lawful basis
To quote for work and get back to you. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b). Without a phone number we cannot call you back.
To carry out work you have booked. Lawful basis: performance of our contract with you, Article 6(1)(b).
To keep records of completed jobs. Lawful basis: our legal obligation to keep tax and accounting records, Article 6(1)(c).
To improve the service when you leave feedback. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in knowing when something went wrong, Article 6(1)(f). We have considered your interests and think you would expect us to read feedback you chose to send us. You can object at any time.
We do not use your details for marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list or send you offers.
4.Who else sees it
Your enquiry passes through a small number of companies that provide the technology behind this website. They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — Hosts the website and stores enquiries in its database. Based in United Kingdom and United States.
- Resend — Delivers the notification email when an enquiry is submitted. Based in United States.
- Google LLC — Provides the mailbox the notification arrives in, the embedded map, and the web fonts the site loads. Based in United States.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
5.Information leaving the UK
Some of the companies above are based in the United States. Where your information reaches them, it is protected by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, which is a contract requiring them to protect it to UK standards.
6.How long we keep it
Enquiries that became a job: six years from completion, because that is how long we may need the record for tax and for any claim about the work.
Enquiries that went nowhere: twelve months, then deleted.
Review feedback: twenty four months, then deleted.
7.Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. It does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any advertising tracker, and it does not store anything in your browser to identify you.
We do count how often certain buttons are clicked, so we know which parts of the site are useful. That count records the name of the button, the page it was on and the time. It records no IP address, no cookie and nothing that identifies you, so those figures cannot be traced back to a person.
Two things do reach Google when a page loads, and we would rather tell you than not: the site loads its fonts from Google, and the map on some pages is a Google map. Both mean your device asks Google for a file, and Google can see your IP address when it does. We are working on removing the font request.
8.Keeping it safe
The website is served over an encrypted connection. Enquiries are stored in an access controlled database, and only the business owner and the website developer can reach the mailbox they are sent to. We hold no payment card details.
9.Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you what we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it
- stop using it while a complaint is sorted out
- send it to you, or to someone else, in a portable format
- stop relying on legitimate interest, where that is our basis
Email or phone us using the details in section 1. We will respond within one month, and it is free.
There is no automated decision making here. A person reads every enquiry.
10.If you are unhappy
Please tell us first so we can put it right. You do not have to, though, and you can go straight to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator for data protection.
